Roberta Perry, 72 of Rockville died Monday, April 6, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospice in Tucson, Ariz.
She was a retired secretary and support staff member for International Studies and Chemistry Department at DePauw University in Greencastle. She was born Aug. 15, 1936 in Greencastle to the late Russell Elmore and Geneva Maxwell Elmore.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James F. Perry whom she married April 17, 1955 in Rockville.
Other survivors include sons James R. "Rusty" Perry of Perrysburg, Ohio and Robert Lee "Lee Bob" Perry of Sibley, Iowa; four granddaughters and two grandsons.
She was a member of Rockville First United Methodist Church and a member of Greencastle Order of Eastern Star Chapter 255. She was a 1954 graduate of Greencastle High School.
Graveside services were held Friday at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, north of Hollandsburg, with Rev. George P. Weister officiating.
