The question having been asked lately "Who is the oldest inhabitant of Urbana". We have taken some pains to find out. Mrs Sarah McGill moved here in 1802 when Urbana was but cross-roads. She is now over 100 years old.
April 29, 1869
Died 24th April, Mrs Sarah McGill, a pioneer of this county; she was in her 100th year of age and resided in Urbana 67 years. She was born in New Jersey, moved to Maysville, KY and from there to this place; leaves a large family of sons and daughters.
Daughter: Sarah moved to Iowa, died after 1880
