"The death of Mrs. Eugene Dopp, age 57 years, occurred Tuesday at 4:30 o'clock at the home of her sister-in-law, Ms. A. P. Disbrow of Oneonta. Mrs. Dopp was born in Blenheim, the daughter of Furman and Mary Disbrow. Her maiden name was Libby Disbrow. At an early age she moved to Sloansville, where she married Eugene Dopp about 31 years ago. Following his death, nearly five years ago, she went to Oneonta and took up her residence with her brother A. P. Disbrow, and after his death a year ago, resided with Mrs. Disbrow. She has been afflicted with rheumatism since last September, and has gradually failed. Recently her condition seemed more favorable but a relapse followed. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of that city, and during her comparatively short residence there made many friends. Her sole near relative is a brother, Charles Disbrow, of Sloansville." [submitted by Kathryn Hill, "The Cobleskill Index" (Cobleskill, NY), May 28, 1914, Page 4]
