BOOZER, HOWARD SR. May 11, 1912 – August 2, 1974

Howard Boozer, Sr., 62, of Dallas, formerly of Omaha, died last Friday morning in Dallas after a long illness. Funeral services were at 2 pm Sunday in the Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Griffith and the Rev. Jack Cox officiating. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery. Mr. Boozer was born May 11, 1912. He was a retired Ling-Temco-Vaught aircraft sheet metal worker, a member of the Concord Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include a son, Howard Boozer, Jr., of Denver, CO; a brother, Allen Boozer of Omaha; three sisters, Miss Fronie Boozer and Mrs. Irene Morris, both of Omaha, and Mrs. Maggie Lee Branch of Longview; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were handled by the Hanner Funeral Home. Pallbearers were J. L. Vickers, Guy Davis, John Lee Moore, Thomas Thigpen, Bentley Wright and J. T. Clayton. (Row 26 SEC)
