MERRIMACK -- Norman L. Lombard, 76, died April 11, 2009, at Southern New Hampshire Regional Medical Center in Nashua, after a period of declining health.
He was born in Bangor, Maine, April 11, 1933, to Mae (Gifford) Lombard Bowley. He was a resident of Bangor, before moving to Merrimack in 1959.
He was the owner of Lombard & Sons, a material recycling business in Merrimack, and was a former volunteer firefighter in Merrimack.
IN HIS LIFE: Family members include his wife of 57 years, Beatrice "Bea" (Rogers) Lombard of Merrimack; two sons, Wayne Lombard of Merrimack, and Lloyd Lombard of Weare; and a niece, Jody Nason of Millinocket, Maine.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A graveside committal of his cremated remains will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. at Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
