Brandy was killed in an automobile accident December 14, 1997 in Bankhead Forest. She graduated Phil Campbell High School in May 1997. She was 18. She left behind her father, Gregory Eugene Knight and her mother, Myra Jane (Janie) Green Lisieski. She left behind three brothers: Robert Craig Knight, Randall Justin Knight and Brandon Chadwick (Chad) Knight and five nephews: Justin Lee Knight, Phillip Brandon Knight, Robert Hunter Knight, George Magnus Alexander Knight and Sailor Vincent Knight. Her brother, Chad, passed away January 17, 2010 at age 33. Her nephew, Sailor, passed away October 2,2011 at age 7. Her father, Greg, passed away December 13, 2012 at age 64.

The day that she was killed was a beautiful Sunday afternoon and she was on her first big road trip alone to Huntsville.
