Mr. Rufus Joseph Tillman - Native St. Elmo, AL, resident of Bayou la Batre, AL, died at the residence Monday, December 2, 1970, at 6 a.m. Mr. Tillman is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Anderson, Mrs. Delores Ladnier Mrs. Edith Hall, all of Bayou La Batre, Mr. Sedonia Gazzier, Mrs. Helen Deakle, both of Irvington, and Mrs. Melvina Johnston, Mobile; thee sons, John Tillman, Mobile, Joseph Tillman, Bayou La Batre, and Frado Tillman, Coden; 33 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, ad other relatives. Visitations at the residence on Shell Belt Road, Bayou la Batre, after 11 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held from Reorganized Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints, Bayou La Batre Wednesday, December 23, 1970 at 2 p.m. funeral arrangements by Radney Funeral Home, Inc. 3155 Dauphin Street Extension, West of Sage Avenue.
