Flora Bowman
On Dec. 9th, Flora Bowman, wife of Mr. Calvin Bowman died at her home in Wittenburg Township, aged sixty-three years. The funeral was conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Yount, and the remains were laid to rest at Friendship cemetery. She leaves a husband, a mother, and six children to mourn their loss, also several grandchildren all of whom were at her bedside during her last sickness.
Mrs. Bowman had been in feeble health for some time and her death was not unexpected.
She joined Friendship Lutheran Church when a girl and remained a faithful member until death. Just a few hours before death came she asked for someone to lead in prayer.
She was a kind and affectionate mother and wife and will be greatly missed by her many relations and friends.
