Salem Deaths
Mrs. Laura H Chapman, widow of Charles W. Chapman, and a daughter of the late Rev. William E. Hatcher, of the Fort Lewis Babtist Church, died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at her home in Roanoke County.

Surviving are three sons; Lacy B Chapman, Roanoke County; William C. Chapman, Salem; and Charles Henry Chapman, Roanoke, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the residence at 2:30 this afternoon by the Rev. P. H. Chelf and the Rev. Eustus Rushing. Interment will be in the family cemetery in Roanoke county. Active Pall-bearers will be Frank Chapman, J. C. Penn, Billie Johnson, Frank Thomas, Arthur Angle and Ridgeway Hatcher.

Honorary Pall-bearers are: I. D. Chapman, Robert Hatcher, S. M. Penn, W. L. Penn, Frank Hester, Hampton Mowles, W. O. Goodwin, Wallace Reynolds, Dr. G. A.
