Michael J. Popadak, 284 Service Ave., died at 2:05 a.m. Sunday in Sharon General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 68.

Mr. Popadak, a retired welder for the Westinghouse Electric Corp., was born at Pittston, Pa., July 28, 1895, the son of Michael and Elizaabeth Billy Popadak, Sr.

He retired from Westinghous in 1960 and was a member of Westinghouse Veterans Association.

A member of St. Ann's Roman Catholic Sokol Lodge, Farrell, and Protected Home Circle, Sharon.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna Grega Popadak, whom he married September 6, 1917; a daughter, Louise Moreford, Sharon; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Trunick, Warren, Ohio; Anna, wife of Henry Demko, and Elizabeth, wife of William Urda, both of Maple Heights, Ohio, and Helen, wife of Stanley Janusko, Shaker Heights, Ohio; a brother, Andrew, Cleveland; and a grandson Michael Moreford.
