Campbell, Roy, 83, a resident of Route 8, Fayetteville, died Saturday (Jan. 16, 1993) at Health Inn Nursing Home. A native of Lincoln County, he was a member of Liberty Church of Christ. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his wife, Nola Campbell, who died in August 1992. Survivors include two sisters, Ona Mae Simmons of Lynchburg and Ruby Cardwell of Chattanooga; a brother, Willie Carroll McGehee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bert Watkins officiating. Interment followed in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Higgins Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
