Thomas "Tootie" Hulette, 86, died Thursday, August 28th in Shelbyville. He was a native of Frankfort, the former owner of Dewey's Pool Room, and a member of the Catholic Church of the Annunciation. He was also World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 0037. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Payne Hulette. He is survived by his daughter, Claudette Long (Marshall); his grandchildren, Robert David Ethington of Louisville, Marshall Tyler Long of Shelbyville, and Matthew Thomas Long of Louisville; his great grandchildren, Hannah Deah Ethington of Louisville, Shulpa Ethington of Louisville, Lauren McKenzie Long of Shelbyville, and Allyson Taylor Long of Shelbyville. A Christian Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Catholic Church of the Annunciation with Father Bill Bowling officiating and Dr. Fred Moffatt assisting. Burial will follow in the Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at the Shannon Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will also be held 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Catholic Church of the Annunciation
