The 1900 Shelby Co., IL Census lists her as a Teacher of Music. She emigrated to the U. S. in 1870 and was naturalized in 1879. Lizzie had two sisters named Mary and Annie (who married Mr. Hart). It is said that she played the organ at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Bendena, KS (family knowledge).
