Daughter of Henry de Grey, 1st Duke of Kent, and his first wife Jemima, daughter of Thomas Lord Crewe. Anne married Lord Charles Cavendish in 1727. He was a younger son of William, 2nd Duke of Devonshire, and Rachel Russell. They were the parents of Henry Cavendish, the noted British scientist famous for discovering hydrogen.(Additional information provided by A. I. Carroll-Zimmer)
