Ladoisha Ann Gay was Born in Franklin County Missouri to Donna Lee Carroll and Joe Franklin Gay. At age of approx. 10 her father took her to Louisiana without her mothers knowledge. On April 20, 1979 she was kidnapped from the Eastgate Shopping Plaza in Shreveport Louisiana. Her body was discovered June 1, 1979. Dodie's murder has never been solved. She had three siblings on her mothers side Robin Pate nee Roth, Bill Minter and James Roth.
