SAMUEL J. ALLEN

Samuel J. Allen, 70 years old, a retired farmer, died yesterday at his home in St. Petersburg, Florida, after a lengthy illness. Formerly a resident on the Old Princeton Pike near Lawrenceville, he had made his home in St. Petersburg and Avalon, N. J., for the past 20 years.

Son of the late Thomas R. and Katherine C. Allen, Mr. Allen is survived by two brothers, Dr. Enos B. and Dr. Walter B. Allen, both of Trenton.

The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Poulson & Van Hise Home for Services, 408 Bellevue Avenue. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Don Clyde Kite, of the Central Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
