Bucyrus--Cody Ressegger, 62, plant manager of the Swan Rubber Co., here since 1930, died yesterday in Bucyrus City Hospital where he had been a patient since March 12. He had been ill one year with cancer. The family home is at 706 South Poplar St. Mr. Ressegger was widely known in rubber-manufacturing circles. He was employed in supervisory capacities for 21 years by the Goodrich, Goodyear and Firestone rubber companies before joining the Swan firm. He belonged to St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was active in Masonic circles, his affiliations including Elliott Lodge 514, F and AM, at Canal Fulton, O. Bucyrus Chapter 160, RAM, Scottish Rite of Toledo, Aladdin Temple of Shrine in Columbus, and the Bucyrus Shrine Club. He also was a member of the Akron Rubber Group. Born Dec. 6, 1893, in Wetzel County, W. Va., he was the son of Peter and Talitha Mclntyre Ressegger. He was married Oct. 14, 1922 to Josephine C. Theis, who survives. Also surviving are one son, William J., Barberton, and six brothers, James of Williard, Herman of Cuyahoga Falls, Lanham and Charles, both of Akron, Bernard, Miami, Fla. and Elmer, Moundsville, W. Va. Services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday in the Wise Funeral Home. Rev. M. P. Paetznick, his pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home.
