M. Jane Garrow, Palmyra, died Thursday April 16, 2009 in her residence. She was the devoted wife of the late Fred L. Garrow, who died in September 2008. She was born in Uniontown, daughter of the late Harvey C. and Margaret Doyle King.

She had been employed by Bell Telephone, worked in the office of the late Dr. Martin Schneider, DDS, Lebanon and later Dr. Hollis in Palmyra. She was a member of Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey, the class of 1942 Uniontown High School, was a fund raiser for the American Cancer Assoc., former Sunday School Teacher at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Lebanon, past member and past president of the Mrs. Jaycees, Lebanon, volunteered at the former Jonestown Home and Orphanage, and was an avid Steelers Fan.

Surviving are daughters: Kathleene J. wife of Gary Latshaw, Elizabethtown; Jane wife of Dennis Buchanan, Media; grandchildren: Mark and wife Stacey Leffler, Harleys-ville; Katherine Buchanan, Media; great grandson: Thomas Leffler; sisters: Marian Oppermann, Wilmington DE; Nancy wife of Vincent D'Auria, Uniontown; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers: Harvey C. King Jr., Gerald King and Edward King.

Funeral service: Wednesday April 22, 2009 at 11:00 AM, Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 E. Derry Rd., Hershey. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening 6 to 8 PM in the Rohland Funeral Home, Inc., 5th & Cumberland St., Lebanon. Additional viewing at her church Wednesday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lancaster County Bible Church, c/o Children's Ministry, Attn: Linda Geiger, 2392 Mt.
