Richard Butler was the only known child of Benjamin F. Butler (aka Benona) and Caroline (Gano) Butler.

Married Anna Mary Swonger July 20, 1882.

Richard and Anna Mary had the following children:

Richard Butler was a teamster, mason and a carpenter.

Note death certificate lists birth as abt 1864, 1860 census has Richard, age about 1 year, living with his father and mother in Cynthian, Shelby, Ohio. 1900 US Census lists his month and year of birth as Sep 1859. I went with year of birth as 1859 due to these facts.
