English sculptor of the early 19th century. He is best known for for his bronze panel of the battle of Copenhagen at the base of Nelson's Column in Trafalgar Square, London. Among other works are; bust of John Cam Hobhouse and Colonel Hughes, monument to Lord Charles Murray and memorial to Dame Sarah Tyrell and Margaret Collett. He also worked on the Catacombs of the cemetery and produces one of the first memorials there, to the actress Jean Miller. Between 1819 and 1834 he exhibited at the Society of British Artists and the Royal Acadamy.
