Pneumonia Fatal To Aged Resident Of This Village
M.L. Gillard Succumbs Wednesday Morning Following Illness Of Several Days.
M.L.Gillard of Mora passed away early Wednesday morning, February 14. He had been ill with flu for several days, and Sunday pneumonia developed, causing his death after only a short illness. Mr. Gillard's daughter Linnie, is now seriously ill with double pneumonia.
The deceased was 84 years old last fall, and had been a resident of Mora about 25 years. He was the father of two children, Linnie and Lawrence, and Mrs. August Norberg was raised from childhood with the Gillard family. Mrs. Gillard preceded her husband in death a number of years ago.
Funeral arrangements have not been decided upon as we go to press. A complete obituary will be published next week.
