Obituary reads:
Mrs. Sabrina Buckman, widow of the late C. H. Buckman of Chazy, died Sunday afternoon,
the 10th inst. Her funeral was largely attended on Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the residence of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. Fletcher Gilbert, with whom she had resided for the past five years. For the last twenty years she had suffered as an invalid from heart disease; and for the past three months was an intense sufferer, being closely confined to her bed and rooms. She was one of ten children born to Col. Septa Fillmore and wife, only two of whom survive her,—Edgerton Fillmore of Zanesvllle, Ohio, and
Mrs. Eunice Chisholm of Chazy. She was seventy-four years of age and leaves five children, three sons and two daughters, who survive her. She was mother of the late Capt. and Brevet Major H. C. Buckman of the 96th N. Y. Infantry. The Rev. M. curry, assisted by the Rev. P.J.H. Myers, officiated.
