Charles E. Flanders, age 78, died March 17, 1993.

Born June 28, 1914 in Mayetta, Kansas to Claude W. and Grace Hambleton Flanders. Married Mildred Petersen June 14, 1940. Employed by Kennecott Copper for 40 years.

He lived his life as a follower of Christ, setting an example in the meaning of fellowship and brotherhood. He dedicated his life and efforts in serving his fellowmen. All who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember the joy in his smile, the goodness in his heart and the blessing in the generosity of his spirit. His presence shall be missed, but the knowledge of his destination will bring good cheer.

Survivors: wife, Mildred Petersen Flanders; daughter, Jean Crown; grandson, S. Troy Bagwell, brothers, Reid, Tempe, Ariz.; Nyal, Sequin, Wash.; Allan and Bryan, Bountiful, Utah; Fred, Scottsdale, Ariz., sister, Wilma Zeyer, Provo, Utah.

Preceded in death by daughter, Donna May Flanders, deceased December 7, 1949.

Funeral services will be Sat, March 20, 1993, 12 noon, at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 So Highland Drive. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Sat one hour prior to services. Interment Murray City Cemetery.
