KING, NC ~ Marie Dalton Lawson, 90, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003.
She was born Aug. 14, 1913, in Patrick County, Va., to Willie Isham and Mattie Octavia Hill Dalton.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Banjamin Franklin Lawson; and two brothers, Glenn and Lester Dalton.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in King, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31st, with Bill Truitt and Lamar Tillman, ministers, officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 this evening, Dec. 30th, at Slate Funeral Home in King.
Memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund of First Christian Church, P.O. Box 504, King, NC 27021.
