Hansford Bragg, 74, of Spurlockville, Lincoln County, died December 10, 1997, in Thomas Memorial Hospital., South Charleston. He was retired from the State Department of Highways.
Surviving: wife, Ermal; daughters, Linda Adkins, Barbara Plumley and Gloria Miller, all of Alkol, Connie Miller and Anna Elkins, both of Spurlockville; sons Richard, Golzie and Jessie Bragg, all of Spurlockville; sisters Ida Lovejoy and Ada Linville, both of Sias; brother, Sherman Bragg of Alkol; 21 grandchildren, one great grandchild. Services were held 11 a.m. Friday at Koontz Funeral home, Hamlin, with Rev. Russell Adkins and the Rev. Emory Linville, officiating, Burial was in Lovejoy Cemetery, Palermo.
