DEATH OF A PIONEER
Jesse Holloway, one of the first of the pioneer residents of Wabash county and a man who throughout his long life in this ocunty has had the respect and confidence of all who knew him, passed away Friday at his house one mile east of Lincolnville, after an illness of paralysis of more than two years.
Mr. Holloway, who was a brother of Silas Holloway of this city, was born in Starke county, Ohio, January 15, 1829 and when a comparatively young man moved to Wabash county settling on a farm near Lincolnville nearly sixty years ago.
The funeral took place Sunday morning at eleven o'clock at the Friends Church, Lincolnville, Sarah Jane Bogue officiating. #The interment in the Friends' Cemetery.
