Wilma J. Fitzgerald Coffey, age 87, of Hillsdale passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility. She was born June 3, 1919 in Ransom to Clarence & Ruby (Weatherwax) Webster. On October 23, 1936 she married Earl Fitzgerald and he preceded her in 1982. On January 8, 1993 she married Coleman Coffey and he preceded her in 1995.Wilma was a 1936 graduate of Frontier High School. She later worked for Kroger as head cashier, retiring after over 30 years, and she was also a member of the Hillsdale United Brethren Church.She is survived by daughters, Joyce Stawiarski Carson of Peoria, AZ, Delores (Bruce) Kimling of Osseo and Elaine (Perry) Palmer of Hillsdale; and a step daughter, Susie Harvey of Seattle, WA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Scott (Jill) Stawiarski of Janesville, CA, Mark (Cheryl) Stawiarski of Federal Way, WA, Michael (Pat) Stawiarski of Scottsdale, AZ, Doug (Toni) Kimling of Pittsford, and Phillip Palmer of Hillsdale; step grandchildren, Ted Harvey of Seattle, WA and Cindy (Brendon) Benzing of Seattle, WA; 5 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a special sister-in-law, Altha Webster of Hillsdale.She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Earl & Coleman; a grandson, William Palmer; a great-granddaughter, Nicole Kimling; and a brother, Leo Webster.The funeral service for Wilma Fitzgerald Coffey will be Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Rev. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Frontier Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
