MARSHALL - Sue Olive Revis Conner , 85, of P. Davis Road, passed away Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, at a local health care facility.
A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, Mrs. Conner was the daughter of the late Oliver and Ida Chandler Revis . She attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was the wife of the late Vance Conner , who passed away in 1993. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Stroud, and sister, Vona Lee Thomas.
Mrs. Conner is survived by daughters, Barbara Jean Melton of Asheville, Shirley Roberts of Marshall sons, Robert "Bob" Collins of Mars Hill, Ray Collins of Greenville, S.C. stepsons, Norman and Harold Conner stepdaughter, Nellie Blythe 15 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Conner will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, in the chapel of Madison Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Roberts will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
