WENATCHEE _ Lawrence W. ``Larry'' Keller, 80, of Wenatchee, died Friday, Jan. 14, 1994, in Parkside Manor Nursing Home, following an extended illness.
He was born Aug. 9, 1913, to Isaac H. and Josiphine (Carter) Keller at Octavia, Neb., where he received his education. He moved to New York when he was a young man, and worked as an electrician in maintenance at the New Yorker Hotel. He later moved to Los Angeles, Calif., where he worked as an electrician on the Santa Fe Railroad Line. He came to Wenatchee in 1958.
He married Pauline Anderson on Sept. 5, 1959, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They lived at East Wenatchee and Wenatchee. Mr. Keller worked in electrical construction on dams, schools, missile sites and commercial buildings. He retired in 1978.
He attended the First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 191.
He is survived by his wife, at home; a son, Kenneth of Byron, Calif.; a daughter, Barbara Wall (1939-2008) of Richmond, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Herb (Betty) Everhart of East Wenatchee; two brothers, Paul of Hutchinson, Kansas, and Clarence of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister, Francis Monfort of Flemington, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister.
