Dawna was born September 27, 1960 and passed away on April 14, 2009 of complications from a long illness.


Dawna was named for the Morning (Dawn). She loved morning and was always a happy child. She loved flowers, camping and hunting for Indian Artifacts. She loved being a mother to her two sons. They were her world.


She graduated from the University of Utah with honors and a Bachelors degree in Science and an RN in Nursing. She loved taking care of people and showering them with compassion, not just as a nurse but to everyone.


She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved music and served many years as a ward organist. She loved going to the temple. Married Larry Hanna; later divorced. Married Rod Storms; later divorced.


Survived by: sons, Shane (Christi) Hanna, and Elliot Hanna; parents, Roger and Karleen Park; brother, Drew; sister, Margaret (Rob) Deklerk; and much loved nephews, John, Jacob, Preston; and niece, Madalyn. "Dawna, you are loved and will be dearly missed."


Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Midvalley First Ward Chapel, 1050 East Chapel Hill Drive (7410 South). A viewing will be held at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State Street, on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and on Monday at the Church from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
