MARY VIRGINIA BRYARLY-MOORE was born on 10 February 1839 in Wilmington, Clinton County, Ohio, and was the youngest child of Thomas F. Bryarly & Mary Lupton. Her mother passed away while she was still breast feeding as the family migrated from Ohio to Texas for a land grant.

Mary Virginia Bryarly married Hon. Russell Latimer Moore on 22 Aug 1867 in Red River County, Texas, and they had FIVE children of record:

Joseph "Joe" Thornton Moore (1868-1899),
Hettie May Moore (1871-1899),
Russell Lane Moore (1873-1901),
Robert Dickson Moore (1882-1961), &
Lulu Moore (1877-1888).

Mary passed away on 16 June 1903, she buried three of her five children (before the 1900 census was taken). They are buried at the Madras Cemetery next to their mother.
