Christine Lynn Newman, 59, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away at her home on April 11, 2009.
She was born August 10, 1949 in Long Beach, California to Keith and Margaret Christine Robertson Park.
Christine married David A. Barela on June 1, 1967 in Midvale, Utah. They divorced. She married Richard Newman on May 22, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Richard passed away in 2005.
Christine worked for Linford Glass and enjoyed gardening. She was an awesome cook, loved to shop and enjoyed crocheting, camping and her cats.
Survivors: children, Carol Barela, Blaine Barela, Andria Willden (Darrin), Christina Turner (Alan); seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter; sister, Sandra Park. Preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 South State Street, where friends may call on Tuesday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah, following the services.
