Taken from Autauga County Heritage Book pg 123 Prattville Alabama. The four brothers were John Alford Grier, Moses Gains Grier,Robert Monoe Grier & Thomas Grier.

John Alford or Alfred Grier & Martha Eliza (Perkins/Crumpler)Grier. Not sure who the baby is in photo. My Aunt Barbara Greer sent me the photo which had info on back stating that the baby was her father Roy Colvin Greer born 11/08/1901. Which would be my grandfather. I realized that the baby could not be Roy Colvin Greer due to the fact that John A. Grier died in 1892 nine years before Roy was born. I am speculating that the baby is one of the firstborn twins of John & Martha born 05/27/1866; either Johnson Pickens Grier or Martha Fina Grier. Not sure why both children are not in photo. One can only speculate that one of them may have been sick or would not sit still long enough for a photo to be taken in probably 1866.
