Charlene passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 25, 2008. She was born April 15, 1952, in Renton, WA. Soon after her birth, she moved to the Wenatchee area, where she was raised by her parents, Jack and Gwen Adams. Char attended Eastmont schools, graduating in 1970, from Eastmont High School. She completed her education at Wenatchee Valley College and Washington State University. She was a teacher at Headstart, worked at Trend College and Express Personnel. Char was also a community volunteer. In 1989, she met Bob Douglas and together, they raised her beautiful daughter, Sarah Jane. Char loved animals and she was very compassionate towards people. Char had a great sense of humor and laughter that we will never forget. Char was preceded in death by her brother, Jackie N. Adams, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Jane (Mike) Wavada of Las Vegas, NV; her parents, Jack and Gwen Adams of East Wenatchee; her lifelong companion, Bob Douglas; their special dogs, Randi D. Dawg and Sammy; her sisters, Kris (Ron) Felty, Dorene (Wayne) Sannes and Beth Southwick; her brothers, Paul and Sandy Adams; special niece, Jackie Weber, who was of great importance in her life; and many other nieces and nephews.
