FREDA ELNOR FICK, 95 of Brea, California passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born Tuesday, April 20, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Nathan and Susan " Dowell " Thomas. She was married at an early age to the love of her life, Adelbert W Fick, for over 55 years before he passed away March 20, 1990. He was a WWII veteran where Freda will once again be reunited with him at Riverside National Cemetery. Freda presented herself as a lovely lady and dedicated her life to helping others. She worked in the medical industry as a Medical Assistant for over 50 years. Once retired she was as very involved in helping people in the community, traveling to the grocery store for those that had difficulty and also helping others through her church. She was very active in her church and carried a tremendous love for Jesus everywhere she went. Her family describes her as strong, very family oriented, and giving. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. Surviving is her daughter, Susan Preston, grand children: Jason, Chanen, Jacob, Daniel, Brandon, and Michael. And great-grand children: Samuel, Noah, and Lilly.
