Retired farmer of Crawford County expires suddenly: Funeral today.
A heart attack proved fatal last night to J. S. Jones, 86-year-old retired farmer who lived with a son W. J. Jones 166 Magnolia street. Death came suddenly at 11 p.m. Mr. Jones was born Nov. 27, 1852, in Crawford county and had been a resident of Macon for 40 years. He was a member of Bethelem Primitave Baptist church. Survivors include three sons, W. J. and J. H. Jones of Macon and M. M. Jones, Washington, D. C.; 10 grand children and one great grand-child.
Funeral survices will be held at 4:30 p.m. today in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary with Elder A. J. Banks officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Ridge cemetery.
