Arthur Ray Poole graduated from D'Iberville High School in 1984. He was a truck driver by profession, and loved spending time with his family and friends. He found pleasure in watching, playing, and talking about football. He especially enjoyed weightlifting and working out with his friends at ProGym in Biloxi. For three consecutive years Arthur won the title of Strongest Man On The Coast Contest. He touched many lives with his winning smile, gentle character and loving heart. Arthur Poole passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 in Ocean Springs at the age of 42.
Arthur is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Poole, Sr., mother, Mary Elizabeth Poole, his sister, Elizabeth Ann Poole, and his brother Douglas Claiborne.
Fond memories will be cherished by his wife: Jozette Poole of Biloxi; one son: Philip Broadus III of St. Martin; one daughter: Kristi Broadus of St. Martin; one brother: Johnny (Quintina) Poole of D'Iberville; three grand children: Sierrah, Jaydin, and Kayleigh; and one niece: Breana "Bre-Bre" Poole
