James Rascoe, 79 CADIZ, Ky.

Services for James T. Rascoe, 79, of Cadiz were at Goodwin Funeral Home. Dr. Tom Martin officiated, with burial in Little River Cemetery.
Mr. Rascoe died Saturday at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

He was retired from Trigg County Farmers Bank and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Myra Rascoe; four daughters, Cindy Calhoun of Cadiz, Tammie Calhoun of Big Clifty, Sharon McCormick of Athens, Tenn., and Alisha McKinley of Hermitage, Tenn.; one son, Larry Rascoe of Cadiz; two sisters, Alice Arends of Scottsville and Sara Tunks of Warren, Mich.; one brother, Gordon Byron Rascoe Jr.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter;; two brothers; and one sister. His parents were Gordon Byron Rascoe Sr. and Nannie Otis Story Rascoe.
