Mr. John T. Hunter, a former well-known resident of this city, died suddenly at his home in Washington this morning, aged 85 years. Mr. Hunter, it will be remember, was for many years connected with the furniture firm of Wm.Muir. His remains will be brought here for interment, and the funeral will take place from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. F.G. Grimes, Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock.
