ELBERTA -- Roy Dale Hughes, a native of Alabaster, Ala., and resident of Elberta, died Friday, Jan. 17, 2003. He was 40. Survivors include his wife, Catina Hughes of Elberta; one daughter, Dana Hughes of Iowa; one son, Jeffrey Hughes of Birmingham; his mother, Gladys Faye Sellers of Calera; three sisters, Connie Thames of Alabaster, Lisa Sims of Calera and Gladys Schaefer of Shannon; and his grandmother, Frances Stamps of Calera. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Summerdale. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home.
