"Barbara" Buchwalter was the daughter of Yost Theodorus "Durst" Buchwalter and Barbara (Landis) Buckwalter. Her parents were both born in Switerland and then immigrated to America in 1713.

She married Hans "John" Weber, a Mennonite farmer, about 1750 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and between 1752 and 1768 they had 5 boys and 3 girls. Their names were: Anna, Jacob, John, Barbara, Abraham, George, Joseph and Elizabeth Weaver.

Note: Sometime during her life time her children adopted "Weaver" as their sir name.

She is buried in the old cemetery on the west side of Route 897 at the Old Order Weaverland Mennonite Church.
