RONDA K. WOODS, 65, of Fort Wayne, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2009, 7:12 a.m., at Parkview Hospital. Born Oct. 5, 1943, in Wolf Lake, she was the daughter of the late John O. Waters and A. Ilene Shandbarger. She was a teller at Bank one for 10 years, retiring in 2003. "She enjoyed reading romance novels, playing Bingo and fishing, but hated fishing worms." Surviving are her husband, Glenn K. Woods of Fort Wayne; two sons, Dean E. Woods and John H. Woods, both of Fort Wayne; one daughter, Lori L. (Doug) Lowe of Fort Wayne; three grandchildren, Brooke, Austin and Colton, all of Fort Wayne; several nieces and nephews; two brothers, Dennis L. Waters of Huntertown and Rick L. Waters of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Carol S. Reiter of Fort Wayne and Lea Ann Tolley of Atlanta, Ind. Service is 4 p.m. Friday at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, with visitation from noon until time of service. The Rev. Barry Beknap officiating. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials to the National Kidney Foundation or donor's choice.
