She was the wife of Ernest Paolini.
Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late Alred and Jessie (Allard) Adams. A longtime resident of Hopkinton, she lived in Marlborough for 10 years before returning to Hopkinton.
A graduate of Hopkinton High School with high honors in 1940, Mrs. Paolini had been a secretary for Telecron and GE in Ashland for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Hopkinton. A member of the Audubon Society, she was a volunteer for BayPath Humane Society in Hopkinton. She loved to dance.
Besides her husband, she leaves her son, Robert Paolini and his wife, Peggy (Connelly), of Hopkinton; her daughter, Cheryl Goodman and her husband, Leonard, of Lexington; five grandchildren, Courtney, Sam, Matthew, Stephanie and Amanda; a great-granddaughter, Molly; a niece, Wendy Bartlett; and three cousins, Mildred Kessler, Marjorie Brunell and Russ Adams.
She was the sister of the late Marion Varnum.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1, at 10 a.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 61 Wood St., Hopkinton.
Burial will follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Hopkinton.
Visiting hours are Tuesday, Aug. 31, at Chesmore Funeral Home (www.chesmorefuneralhome.com), 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton.
