Princess Louise was the daughter of King Edward VII of England & Queen Alexandra of Denmark. She was born at Marlborough House, London and died at Portman Square, London.

On 27 Jan 1889, she married Sir Alexander William George Duff, 6th Earl of Fife. After the marriage, Queen Victoria, Louise's grandmother, created him Duke of Fife and Marquess of MacDuff.

They were the parents of three children-Alastair (stillborn), Alexandria Victoria Alberta (wife of Prince Arthur of Connaught), and Maude Alexandra Victoria Georgina (wife of Sir Charles Carnegie, 11th Earl of Southesk).
