Moved with her family to West Jordan and grew up on the Dahl ranch and dairy farm. Graduated from Jordan High School. Married Persyl L. Richardson May 29, 1929 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She also served with her husband in the Oklahoma-Tulsa Mission from 1971-1974.

She was a beloved and dedicated mother and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved music and art and encouraged others to expand their talents. She studied with many teachers, taught and displayed her art statewide and locally. She was recognized for her contributions to the community in art and culture.
