Mrs. Jennie M. Bright, nee Lengle, 83, widow of Morris Bright, died at 10:45 p. m. Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lester Miller, Lebanon Route 1. Death was due to a heart ailment with which she had been afflicted for two and one half years. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church, Avon, and was one of the charter members of its missionary society. Besides the daughter at whose home she died Mrs. Bright is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Walter Troutman, Philadelphia; Mrs. Clement Allwein, Lebanon; Mrs. John Knarr, Schuylkill Haven. Seventeen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Kate Batdorf, Lebanon, also survive. [Lebanon Daily News, October 10, 1947, Page 21]
