She was a member of the Methodist Church, member of Brandon Chapter No. 92, OES Greenville SC; Woodmen Circle, Orange Grove, Greenville; American Legion Auxillary, Shelby, NC; and KKK Auxillary in Greenville.

Funeral services will be held at Liberty Methodist Church, near Whitney, SC. Interment will be in the church cemetery beside her second husband, Orrie E. Gossett.
