OWENS, Fred L. born September 6, 1925. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. Fred was an Army Veteran, having proudly served in World War II. After moving to Dayton, OH in 1950 he was employed by McCall's/Dayton Press for many years. Fred was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Cleo (Hayes) Owens, brother Bob Owens and sister Georgia (Owens) Creswell. He is survived by wife Margaret, son James Owen (Becky) of Clarkston, MI, daughter Debbie Parks (John) of Boise, Idaho, grandchildren James L. Owens (Tabitha), Joseph R. Owens (Jody), and J.K. Farris. Fred passed away suddenly and will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
