Mississippi, Saltillo - Clarence L. 'Bill' Swanger, 76, retired truck driver and farmer, died Wednesday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Saltillo Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo has charge. Swanger, the husband of Virginia Swanger, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Nancy Robison of Belden; two sons, Jim Swanger of Memphis and Jack Swanger of Gulf Breeze, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Willie Carpenter of Los Angeles; a brother, Joseph Swanger of Memphis, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
