Larry Haddad, 59, of Charleston, avid golfer and devoted father and husband, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, after a sudden illness.
Son of the late Frederick Lawrence Haddad Sr. and Vivian Summers Haddad, Larry was a graduate of George Washington High School and West Virginia University. He went on to become a successful businessman.

Larry is survived by his wife, Deborah Scholter Haddad; his two daughters, Lauren Haddad Prizinski and Elizabeth Haddad; son-in-law, Francois Prizinski; grandson, Max Prizinski; sister, Susan Lee Haddad; and Karen Haddad, wife of the late Fred Haddad Sr. He will be deeply missed by a host of family and friends, and especially his canine friend, Charmin.

Visitation will be held at Barlow Bonsall Wednesday, April 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. Church service will be held on Thursday, April 16, at 10 a.m. at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church. Burial will be immediately following the service in Sunset Cemetery in South Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Kanawha/Charleston Humane Association, 1248 Greenbrier St., Charleston, WV 25311.
